Personalized Path to Success
Upon enrolling in our program, students take a placement test which helps us assess their current proficiency level. Based on the test results, we provide personalized tutoring that addresses their specific needs, whether it be to help them catch up to their appropriate level or prepare them for more advanced programs like Key, Enriched, or AP. This approach allows us to maximize their growth and success.
Creating a Supportive Community for Student Success
At our center, we believe in fostering a positive and empowering atmosphere where students can grow and succeed. Our students know they can turn to us for guidance and support with their homework. Collaboration and community are emphasized, allowing students to learn from each other and reach their full potential. Our center is not just a place for academic support, but a community of opportunity where students can reach for their goals. We strive to create an atmosphere that inspires and motivates students to achieve greatness. TESTING
We are approved to administer Stanford®/OLSAT® and The Iowa Tests® Forms C and E and CogAT®.
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) is an aptitude test that is used to measure reasoning skills with different types of verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal questions. This group-administered test is given as an entrance exam into gifted programs in K-12 schools.
The ITBS test, also known as the Iowa Test of Basic Skills is published by the University of Iowa and is considered part of “The Iowa Testing Programs.” However, despite the name, these tests are nationally administered and are designed to assess the abilities of students. The tests include subjects in Language Arts, Reading, Math, Science and Social Sciences.
The Stanford Achievement Test (SAT – 10), 10th Edition is used to provide achievement scores for parents, teachers, and students, allowing them to understand how well students can perform in Language Arts, Math, Reading, Science, and Social Sciences. The test is recognized nationwide.
